This week I interview Milos Horvat. I was introduced to Milos by my buddy David Beckstead. Well, all I can say is AWESOME! Milos is from Slovenia and shoots weddings with his wife Nataša. They make a perfect wedding photography team. They are unique and their style is highly distinctive. His use of natural light, composition and passion for his craft is awesome. His work is definitely taking wedding photography to the next level. Milos Horvat is definitely what these interviews are all about, creativity, vision and passion. Tell us a little bit about Miloš Horvat?
A simple version …… I am 36 years old, married for 9 years with the woman of my life, having a lovely 7-year-old daughter Klara, living a happy family life in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Europe.
A more complicated one…amazed every single day, with the complexity (or simplicity) of life and being a human.
A photographical one…a lot of people call me the wedding photography God here in Slovenia, but that is what they just call me. I think, I just used a chance that life offered me or even better, I followed my feelings even if I had to work hard to accomplish it.
And the most important one …actually the best thing was to teach my wife Nataša to also become a photographer. So, actually, we are a husband and wife team.
Where is home?
At the moment we live in a house that Nataša and I built by ourselves on a hill above Ljubljana – the capital city of Slovenia. It’s still not completely finished but I can see the whole city from my bed. It is really cool at night when all the lights are on. That was our dream from the beginning. Now, new dreams are already being created in our minds.
