BenQ DC E53+ отличался миниатюрными размерами, симпатичным внешним видом, большим качественным дисплеем и малым временем работы от аккумулятора, снимки тоже были довольно посредственными, так что бестселлером данная модель не стала. Это и понятно, ведь разница в цене по сравнению с той же серией IXUS от Canon невелика, так что обычный потребитель предпочтет переплатить немного, но все же купить разрекламированный продукт от известного производителя.
