Here is a quick pic of my recently converted Powershot A640. I did the conversion myself, following a disassembly guide on Youtube for the A640 ( almost identical ). Once the camera top was off, the rear panel came off pretty easy. After that, it was just a case of removing three screws...
Took a walk to take my bike to a bike shop and (hopefully) get it fixed. On my way home I took a few pictures. Everything is grey-ish and I could just as well have taken the pictures on black and white film. Perfect.
