My name is Allison O’Connor. I’m an American student who recently returned home from a year-long study abroad program at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. I started this blog as a way to document that experience and through it developed a deeper interest in photography. I bought a film camera halfway through the year abroad (on ebay, for $60!) and now I’m addicted to the excitement of dropping off and picking up my film. I spend most of my free time exploring and taking pictures and I use this blog to post them.
I’m currently using a Canon EOS Rebel K2 film camera and very occasionally a Casio Exilim digital camera. I’d love some encouragement and suggestions! I now have my own photography website to go along with this blog – please take a look and let me know what you think.
